10×10 draughts: mandatory captures and capture chains
International draughts uses a 10×10 board. You must notice not just a possible move but any mandatory capture sequence.

Captures take priority
When a capture is available, an ordinary quiet move is not an option. If several capture sequences exist, the maximum-capture rule matters. Examine the whole chain, including changes of direction: the nearest opponent may only be the start of a combination.
Kings change the reach
Kings travel along diagonals over a distance. Open diagonals make them powerful without removing the capture requirement. Check where a sequence will finish and whether that final square leaves a forced reply.
Read the opponent’s answer
An offered checker may be part of a trap. Do not judge a capture by its first result: continue the replies for both sides in your head. Practise with short positions and use Undo in a local game to explore a different continuation.
