Mini golf: aim, power and a safe route
In ROSA Mini Golf: Royal Islands, a good shot begins with reading the route. A straight line to the cup is not always the easiest option.

Choose the next stopping place
Before shooting, picture where the ball should come to rest. On a narrow course, a safe intermediate position can be more useful than trying to reach the cup immediately. Inspect rails and obstacles that will change the direction of travel.
Match power to the surface
An overly strong shot makes stopping near the cup harder. Sand, slopes and collisions affect movement. Use a modest exploratory shot when a section is unfamiliar, then apply what you observe to the next decision.
Allow for the rebound
For a bank shot, the contact point and the speed afterwards both matter. Do not apply one calculation to every obstacle. Watch the ball’s actual movement and wait for it to stop before taking another shot, keeping your aim and its consequences clear.
